How do I schedule a pick-up? 

You can schedule a free pick-up here. Pick-ups can be scheduled for the next day, or a few days in advance. (USPS doesn't do pick-ups on Sunday, so if you are shipping your stuff home from a rental or a friends' home, keep that in mind!)

How do I track my bag?

Once your bag has been scanned by USPS, you will receive an email with the tracking number. If you do not get an email within 48 hours of dropping off your bag or your scheduled pick-up, send an email to orders@packdbags.com with your order number and where you sent your bag from and we will make sure it's on its way home to you!

What if I don't have a trip planned yet?

First of all, what are you waiting for? Luckily, you don't need to have a trip planned to get your bag and be ready for travel! Your Packd bag can be picked up from anywhere in the US and shipped back to your house, and the shipping label is good for an entire year. Now go book that vacay!

Can I leave my bag at the front desk of my hotel? 

Yes! Because we work with USPS, the hotel will hold your bag at the front desk and send it out with their mail. Let them know it's pre-paid, and if they need you to, you can always schedule a pick-up and note that it is at the front desk.

Will ANY hotel take my bag?

It turns out, no! We have had a small handful of customers who have stayed at hotels that are unwilling to send out their bags (or are not currently serviced by USPS).

We recommend checking with the front desk upon arrival to ensure you can use your bag before filling and sealing it.

Where can I ship a Packd bag from? 

Currently, Packd bags are only pre-labeled for shipment within the 50 United States. International options are coming soon, and will have to be purchased separately. As long as you are at an address listed with the post office, you can schedule a pick-up. (Some vacation rentals - especially remote ones - are not registered with USPS. We recommend starting the pick-up scheduling process to make sure the address is serviceable. If not, you can drop your bag off at any USPS drop-off location on your way out.)

Where can I ship my filled Packd bag to?

While we are happy to send your initial order of bags to a hotel or airbnb if you need them asap, filled Packd mailer bags can only be sent back to a residential address. There is a spot to specify all of this at checkout - the more clear you can be, the better!

What are the extra costs? 

There aren't any! Once you purchase a pre-paid, pre-labeled Packd bag, all you have to do is use it. If you ship prohibited items, or your bag goes over the 10lb weight limit, you may incur an overage charge per Packd's terms and conditions. So just don't do it, promise?

What can I put in the bag? 

Packd bags are 15"x19" and are designed to send home cloth items only, like your vacation clothes. Or that new romper (or romphim). The weight limit is 10lbs - plenty of wiggle room for any cloth items you may need to stuff in. 

I am trying to schedule a pick-up and the USPS site isn't working.

Unfortunately, we have to work with what USPS has going on. You can schedule your pick-up the next day, but we recommend scheduling a few days out. And remember - no pick-ups on Sunday (Uncle Vernon voice). 

I need to send my bag to a different address now. 

If you have already purchased a Packd bag and would like it to go to a different address, please email orders@packdbags.com and include your order number and the new address. A new shipping label will be emailed to you to print out and use on your bag.

It's been a year and I haven't used my bag(s). Do I need a new label?

Yes, but no sweat - we will send you new labels for your bags. Just email us at orders@packdbags.com with your order number (it's on your bag's label) and we will send you new ones to stick on. 

I need help tracking my bag/my bag is late.

In the unlikely event of rough air - wait - in the unlikely event your bag does not arrive home in a timely manner, please reach out to us at orders@packdbags.com. Include your order number and any information you have and we will get back to you within 24 hours. Working with carrier services can be frustrating, so if a problem ever arises, Packd will handle it on your behalf and keep you updated along the way. Our bags are covered by standard USPS insurance with additional coverage provided by Packd - included in every purchase.
